Isfahan Privince
Isfahan province with a total area of 106,786 square kilometers is located in the center of Iran. This province is bordered by the provinces of Semnan, Qom and Markazi to the north, by the provinces of Lorestan and Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari to the west, by the provinces of Fars, Kohgiluyeh-Boyer-Ahmad to the south, and by the provinces of Yazd and southern Khorasan to the east.
The City of Isfahan
Isfahan city is the capital of Isfahan province. Due to its original and rich architecture, the city is named “half of the world”. The city of Isfahan was the capital of Iran during the Safavid era. Isfahan is located at an altitude of 1571 meters above the sea level.
