ISNA / According to the latest news, the lighting system of Jiroft Archaeological Museum has been completed.
Mojtaba Shafiei, Deputy Head of Cultural Heritage of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kerman Province, stated: With the funds allocated from the national budget, the project of equipping and organizing the lighting system as well as upgrading the protection system and securing the museum’s CCTV cameras Archeology of Jiroft is over.
The Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kerman Province stated that the purpose of this action was to further protect the historical objects of the Jiroft Archaeological Museum and added: Most of them date back to the third millennium BC and some date back to the Parthian, Parthian and Islamic periods.
He pointed out that the objects on display at the Jiroft Archaeological Museum were from unauthorized diggers and a number of excavations carried out at The ancient hill next to the sandals of this area was discovered, he said: Most of these objects are made of soapstone, pottery and bronze.
Shafiei pointed out: Jiroft Archaeological Museum is open every day except Mondays from 9 am to 6 pm for tourists and enthusiasts to visit.
