Referring to the reopening of the country’s borders to foreign tourists next month, the Deputy Minister of Tourism announced the strict monitoring of the observance of health procedures in tourist facilities.

Vali Teymouri, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, in a virtual meeting with general managers and tourism deputies of the country’s provinces with the aim of coordinating and planning for a worthy presence in the Dubai Expo 2021 tourism exhibition, The view of introducing the country’s tourism potential and taking advantage of Iran’s proximity to the venue of the event was important in order to attract foreign tourists.

Teymouri, referring to the possibility of a controlled reopening under the supervision of international borders to tourists in the coming days, He stressed the need to create the conditions for the regular presence of foreign tourists in the provinces of the country. In this regard, he added:

It is necessary due to the proximity of the time of the Dubai Expo 2021 event and in general to provide the possibility of foreign tourists in the country, the provinces that are the destination of incoming tourism are; By emphasizing, monitoring and monitoring the strict observance of health procedures in the centers and tourism units of the country, as well as retraining the stakeholders and the related private sector, using appropriate promotional items to convince tourists to gain the necessary readiness to restart international tourism in a limited and controlled manner.

Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, emphasizing the need for effective action by provincial administrations in response to this event, stated:

Each of the provincial administrations must present two programs, including the first, a specialized program, including measures to attend the tourism booth, and the second program, including participation in other sectors present in the supply of the country’s tourism industry.

It is worth mentioning that the Dubai Expo will be held in a period of 6 months, from October 21, 2021 to March 2022 (October 1400 to April 1401) in Dubai, UAE, with the presence of more than 192 countries. Will be held.

Iran pavilion in an area of ​​2,014 square meters with the slogan “Iran, an ancient and stable civilization; “Diversity of ethnicities and hosts of nations” is in a favorable location for this exhibition.
