Reopening of Ferdowsi Tomb and Naderi Garden for tourists

After coordination with the Vice Chancellor for Health of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the historical collections of Ferdowsi Tomb and Naderi Garden of Mashhad were reopened to the public.

Amir Ziaeian, Director of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, referring to the coordination made with the Vice Chancellor for Health of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, from the reopening of historical collections Ferdowsi Tomb and the rare garden of Mashhad announced to the public in strict compliance with health protocols. Referring to the letter of the Vice Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Ziaian described the reopening of these complexes as a list of group two jobs, including parks and recreation centers. He considered it conditional on not carrying out group and collective activities and added:

Ferdowsi Mausoleum and Naderi Garden are among the most popular centers in Mashhad among tourists who have the most non-pilgrimage visits to the city.

Ferdowsi Tomb is located at the 20th kilometer of Mashhad-Quchan road (Shahnameh Boulevard) and in a 5.5-hectare garden. This complex includes a museum hall, a restaurant, an administrative section and remnants of old birch, among which the statue of Ferdowsi, the artistic masterpiece of Abolhassan Khansiddiqi, stands out. Also in this complex is the tomb of Mehdi Akhavan Sales, the great contemporary poet and Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Khosravi Avaz Iran and a group of famous poets of the Khorasan region.

Naderi Garden and Tomb is also a monument to Nader Shah, the powerful king of Afshar. Which is located in an area of ​​14,400 square meters, on the northwest side of Mashhad Martyrs Crossroads.
